The Thundering Power of Friendship

Two weeks after previous episode.
Scene: Rinis Room
Rini is on the phone with Amanda.
Rini: Did you get all of the math assignment today?
Amanda: Yeah.
Rini: Can you tell me what we have to do to solve the rest of the assignment?
Amanda: Sure.
Rini: Now that thats out of the way. Did you se that new girl at school today?
Amanda: Yeah she looks nice.
Rini: From what Ive heard shes shy, but gets into fights easy.
Amanda: I think her names Cassie.
Rini: I wonder what shes like.
Amanda: Yeah she might be really nice.
Rini: Anyway, did you see Eric making fun of me today?
Amanda: Yeah, I think he might like you.
Rini: Why in the world would you think that?
Amanda: Ive seen his face after he runs away from teasing you.
Rini: Yeah and?
Amanda: Hes always blushing.
Rini: I never in my wildest dreams thought that someone like Eric would ever like me.
Amanda: I have to go now, Amy is taking me to the library.
Rini: Ok, bye.
Amanda: Bye.
They both hang up.
Rini: (thinking) I never thought that Eric liked me. I always thought that he was just making fun of me. I need to talk to someone.
Rini starts to have a flashback.
Serena: Hey Rini, Ill always be there for you.
Rini comes back to reality.
Rini: Maybe I should talk to Serena about this.
She sits and thinks for a moment.
Rini: Naw, shed just tell everyone. Ill go talk to Lita, but first Id better get to the study session so I can get help with my math.
Scene: The Elementary School
Rini: I could have sworn that the teacher was going to be here today. Theres that new girl. Shes coming over. Ive got to act like Im studying.
Cassie: Hi it looks like you need some help. Mind if I help you.
Rini: Not at all. Have a seat.
Cassie: Im Cassie. Youre Rini right.
Rini: Yeah how did you know. I ran into your friend Amanda earlier and she said that youd be coming here.
Rini: Oh, youre really nice. How come everyone is afraid of you?
Cassie: I dont know. They say that I fight a lot and I do but only to defend my friends. When ever I get a friend that friend means a lot to me. All friends that I make do.
Rini: Thats sweet. Im hungry. Do you want to go over to my house to get something to eat?
Cassie: Sure.
They walk out of the school and Rini is talking to Cassie and is not looking where she is going and runs into someone. She is bowing and saying
Rini: Im sorry, Im sorry, Im sorry.
Eric: Hey Rabbit Head! Man are you clumsy.
Rini: Im not in the mood Eric.
Eric: And you are?
Cassie: Im Cassie. Im the new girl.
Eric: Nice to meet you and glad to run into you Rini.
Rini: (thinking) Except for the rabbit head comment he was nice to me. Maybe he does like me.
Eric runs away blushing and Rini starts to blush.
Cassie: I think he likes you.
Rini: Do you really?
Cassie: Im sure about it.
Rini: Wow!
She starts to faze into a daydream. (Serena characteristic)
Cassie: Rini, are you there? Earth to Rini.
Rini: Huh? Oh Im sorry I was daydreaming.
Cassie: Can we go to your house now?
Rini: Sure.
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
Rini: Here we are.
Cassie: I love it. Its beautiful.
Rini: Thanks. Ill tell Serena that.
Cassie: Whos Serena?
Rini: Well its kinda hard to explain.
Cassie: Thats ok. So Serena lives here to.
Rini: Yeah along with her husband Darien. Theres also Luna.
Cassie: Luna?
Rini: Shes our cat.
Cassie: Can I see her?
Rini: If shes here. She just recently had a kitten. Serena said that I could keep it.
Cassie: That is so cool. The only pet I have is my puppy Skippy.
Rini: Do you live with your parents?
Cassie: Well, no. They died when I was little and Ive been shuffled around from foster home to foster home. Its been really hard to make friends.
Rini: Do you like the home youre in now?
Cassie: Its ok.
Rini senses a sad tone in her voice. Luna walks into the room.
Luna: (thinking) Uh oh! Rini has a friend over Id better not talk. Meow!
Rini: Luna there you are.
Cassie: Shes beautiful! (thinking) That crescent moon reminds me of something that I cant remember just now.
Luna: (thinking) I feel a strange force in this girl.
Luna left and went to Rayes House.
Scene: Rayes House
Mina: You say you felt a strange power around one of Rinis friends?
Luna: Yes and it was a very strong power.
Lita: I wonder why there is a strong power coming from her?
Raye: Could she be one of us?
Artemis: Its possible.
Luna looks over in the corner and Serena and Darien arent even listening. They are to busy staring at each other.
All: (yelling) Will you two pay attention?!
Both: Sorry.
Darien: You were saying.
Luna: I was saying that Ive felt a strange force coming from Rinis new friend, Cassie.
Serena: Could she be one of us?
Luna: As I was saying, I have no clue. You would know all this if you had been paying attention.
Serena: I said I was sorry.
Luna: Anyway, when Rini asked her about her family she said that shed been shuffled from foster home to foster home and when Rini asked about the family that shes with now she said that they were okay, but there was a note of sadness in her voice.
Lita: I think that there might be something wrong, but Id have to talk to Cassie to find out.
Serena: Ill see if Rini will bring her over tomorrow. Why dont you come over about 2:30. Rini gets out of school at 3:00 so youll already be there and then you can talk to Cassie.
Lita: Sure thats fine with me.
Raye: Serena, you actually thought this through.
Serena: Of course I did.
Raye: That was a surprise.
They get into a raspberry fight.
Scene: The next day at Serena and Dariens Apartment
Before Rini goes to school Serena talks to her.
Serena: Hey Rini. I heard that you have a new friend.
Rini: Yeah.
Serena: Why dont you bring her over today? We can have a tea party.
Rini: Cool! Can we have pancakes?
Serena: Sure!
Rini: Ill ask her, but Im sure shell come.
Scene: Elementary School
Cassie: That sounds like fun. Sure Ill come.
Rini: Great! Werere having pancakes, my favorite. Now Im going to ask Amanda if shed like to come. Want to come with me?
Cassie: Sure.
They both go to the school library and find Amanda reading a book. (Just like Amy)
Rini: Hey Amanda!
Amanda: Hey Rini!
Rini: This is Cassie.
Amanda: Hey Cassie!
Rini: Anyway, I came to ask you if you wanted to join us for a tea party after school.
Amanda: I dont know I have a lot of studying to do.
Cassie: Come on itll be fun.
Amanda: All right Ill go.
Rini: All right! Ill meet you at the slide after school.
The school bell rings.
Rini: Theres the bell. Ill see you after school.
All: Bye!
Scene: Rini and Friends on the way home from school
Amanda: This is going to be fun.
Cassie: Im glad to finally have some friends.
Rini: Well were glad to be your friends.
Cassie: Thanks guys!
Both: Your Welcome!
Rini: I can't wait to get home and have some pancakes and tea.
Amanda: Does Serena make good pancakes?
Rini: Oh yeah, sure she does. She makes them like her mother.
Cassie: Will you please explain who Serena is to you? Is she your mother, sister, cousin, what?
Rini: You never did tell me what kind of dog Skippy is.
Amanda: Oh you have a dog.
Cassie: Yeah his name is Skippy. Hes a black lab puppy. He was the runt of the litter.
As they talk Rini is not watching were she is going and runs into someone.
Rini: Oh Im sorry.
Eric: No need to be sorry rabbit head.
Rini: Eric! I didnt see you coming.
Eric: You werent looking.
Rini: Anyway we have to go.
Eric: (mumbles) See you my rabbit head.
Rini: What?
Eric: Nothing!
Eric runs off and Rini is kind of blushing.
Amanda: Hello earth to Rini.
Rini: Huh? What?
Cassie: Youve been standing there staring at where Eric ran off for a while now.
Rini: I have?
Amanda: Yep! I think you like him.
Cassie: Yeah, so do I.
Rini: I do not!
They keep walking and all of a sudden a monster attacks and grabs Rini and Amanda. Cassie is so scared that she cant move.
Mercury: Stand aside Cassie.
Mars: Yeah well take this monster out.
Jupiter: Watch out the monster has Rini.
Venus: It has Amanda too.
Rini: Help!
Amanda: Ow! Help!
Cassie finally hears their cries for help and starts to get angry.
Mercury: Look everybody.
Jupiter: Thats Cassie.
Venus: Whats that power around here?
Cassie continues to get madder and madder. The madder she gets the more power her body puts out. Once she is extremely angry a symbol appears on her head and she yells
Cassie: DONT HURT MY FRIENDS! ADRENALINE RUSH SHOCK!
The monster is hit and it is temporarily shocked and can not move.
Rini and Amanda fall to the ground and Cassie collapses. The scouts run to see if Cassie is all right.
Jupiter: Cassie are you all right?
Mars: We need to get her somewhere where she can rest.
The monster gets free of the attack and blasts the Sailor Scouts with a stream of energy and it knocks them away from the girls. The monster heads for Cassie. Rini awakens.
Rini: What happened? Oh no!
Rini jumps in front of the monster to save Cassie. Just when the monster was about to hit the injured Rini a white rose lands in front of the monster and all of the scouts and Rini look up.
All: TUXEDO MASK?!
Venus: Quick while the monster is distracted.
Jupiter: JUPITER THUNDER CLAP ZAP!
The monster turns to dust and disappears. Rini faints from all that has happened.
Mars: Lets get them home.
They all got to Serena and Dariens Apartment first.
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
Serena: Wow that must have been quite a battle.
Raye: Believe me it was.
Lita: Anyway, was Darien out tonight?
Serena: No, why?
Mina: We saw a white rose thrown in front of the monster and a shadow that looked like Tuxedo Mask.
Serena: Wow!
Amy: Id better get Amanda home.
Lita: Ill take Amanda to her home.
Rini wakes up half way.
Rini: (mumbles) Amanda has no home.
Lita: In that case. Ill take her home with me.
Lita and Amy pick up Amanda and Cassie and go home.
Scene: Enemy Headquarters
Sabor: Birtie, how is the conquest of the Chibi scouts going?
Birtie: We are progressing.
Sabor: Remember that if we dont stop them from finding the rest of the Chibi scouts we are all doomed.
Birtie: I will not fail you my lord.
Sabor: You had better not. For I do not forgive easily.
Scene: Litas Apartment
Lita: (thinking) I wonder why Cassie looks so familiar to me.
Lita hears a scratching at the door.
Lita: I wonder who that could be.
Lita opens the door and a very small black puppy runs into the apartment.
Lita: Hey! Come back.
The puppy runs over to the couch that Cassie is on jumps up on it and starts to lick Cassies face. Cassie slowly wakes up and is scared at first, but then she realizes who it is.
Cassie: SKIPPY! You found me.
Lita: This is your puppy?
Cassie: Yes.
Lita: Now that youre awake Id like the truth about if you have a home or not.
Cassie: I dont have a home all right! Go ahead and call the police. Ill just run. They wont send me back to those horrid foster parents.
Cassie starts to cry and hug Skippy.
Lita: Dont cry I wont call the police.
Skippy: She has a right to cry.
Lita: You can talk!
Skippy: Of course I can talk. I am here to protect Cassie.
Lita: So in other words youre her guardian.
Skippy: Right.
Lita: But that would make Cassie a..
Skippy: A Sailor Scout.
