Scene: The next day in Amandas Room
Amanda is sitting on her bed thinking.
Amanda: (thinking) I wonder if Rinis ok. I should have tried to stop that monster but I was just frozen. I couldnt move. Then Rini jumped in front of me and the monster took her. If Id just done something shed be right her now. Some Sailor Scout I am.
Theres a knock on the door and then Amy comes in.
Amy: Hi Amanda. How you been?
Amanda: Fine I guess.
Amy: Come on theres something wrong. Now tell me what it is.
Amanda: Its just that I miss Rini so much.
Amy: You know when you where captured Rini reacted the same way and she had only know you for a couple weeks. That shows that you guys are true friends.
Amanda: I guess we are. Thanks Amy.
Amy: Hey, what are sisters for?
Scene: Minas House
Mina: Artemis is that the phone or the TV?
Artemis: Its the phone.
Mina answers the phone.
Mina: Hello. Oh hi Amy.
Amy: Hi. I just called to tell you that its your turn to stay with Serena tonight.
Mina: Thanks for calling and reminding me.
Amy: I also wanted to warn you that Serenas really upset about Rini being gone and with Darien away that makes it ten times worse. So try not to mention Rini, Darien, or the baby because that reminds her of Rini.
Mina: Thats a lot to remember. Thanks for calling and Ill see you later.
Amy: Bye Mina.
Mina: Bye Amy.
Artemis: So whats up?
Mina: Its my turn to stay with Serena tonight. So, you get to spend some time with Luna tonight. (thinking) I wonder how I can get Serena to cheer up.
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
The doorbell rings.
Serena: Coming.
Luna: (thinking) I wonder who that is.
Serena: Oh hi Amy. Hello Amanda. I havent seen you in a while. How are you?
Amanda: Im fine. I just miss Rini.
Serena: What are you guys doing here? I thought that youd had enough of me for one night, Amy.
Amy: I told Amanda how down you were and she wanted to come and cheer you up.
Serena: How sweet!
Luna: Wheres Jay?
Amanda: Oops! I forgot to take him out of my bookbag.
Amanda unzips her bookbag.
Jay: Ahh, fresh air.
Amanda: Im sorry Jay.
Jay: Thats ok. Im just glad to be out of there.
Luna: How have you been?
Jay: Other than being in there Im fine.
The doorbell rings again.
Serena: Coming. Oh hi Mina. Amy told me last night tonight would be your night to stay with me.
Mina: Yep, and werere going to have some fun.
Serena: I keep telling you guys that I dont need you to stay here, but you do any way and I appreciate it. Thanks guys!
Both: Youre welcome!
Amy: Well Amanda and I have to go. Come on Amanda.
Amanda: Come on Jay we have to go.
Jay: Bye everyone.
All: Bye!
Amy, Amanda, and Jay leave.
Artemis: So Luna what do you want to do tonight.
Luna: Well I wouldnt want say in front of this crowd.
Serena and Mina both stare at Luna with big eyes.
Both: Oooooooohhhhhhhhh!
Luna: What?
Both: Luna and Artemis sitting in a tree
Luna: Will you stop that!
Artemis: Come on Luna.
They both go into Rinis room and they shut the door behind them.
Serena: Like its hard to tell what therere going to do in there. (sarcastically)
Mina: They act like werere little kids or something.
Serena: Luna treats me like that and Im going to have a baby.
Mina: I think shes just now realizing that she isnt needed as much and she might be forgotten and it worries her.
Serena: Im going to have to talk to her tomorrow.
Mina: I know what we can do!
Serena: What?
Mina: Can I do your hair?
Serena: Sure.
Mina starts to brush Serenas hair and then she puts it up in a big braid behind her head. Serena looks in the mirror.
Serena: Its lovely. Thank you Mina. I needed a change.
Mina: Your welcome. I wonder if Darien will like it.
Serena: I hope so. He should be calling me soon.
The phone rings.
Mina: That must be him.
Serena answers the phone.
Serena: Hello. Darien! Im so glad you called.
Darien: How are you Serena and hows the baby?
Serena: I miss you, but Im fine and the baby is very active.
Darien: Thats good. I miss you too. I love you my meatball head.
Serena: I love it when you call me that.
She realizes that Mina is in the room and blushes.
Serena: I love you too. Im embarrassed. Mina was in the room.
Darien: Oh Minas there can I talk to her.
Serena: Sure. Mina, Darien wants to talk to you.
Mina: Thats weird. I was sure you d talk to him for at least an hour. Hi Darien.
Darien: Hey Mina. I wanted to tell you that Im coming home early to surprise Serena and Id like for you to tell the other girls and try to keep her out of the house tomorrow so I can set up the surprise.
Mina: Oh sure no problem.
Darien: Thanks Mina. Dont tell Serena.
Mina: I wont. Theres something that Serena might want to tell you so Ill give her the phone back and go do what you asked. Bye.
Serena: Darien, theres something I forgot to tell you that is very important.
Darien: Like what?
Serena: You know those monsters that were after Amanda.
Darien: Yeah.
Serena: Well they went after her again and
Darien: They didnt get her did they?
Serena: No, they got Rini instead and Im so worried about Rini. What am I going to do Darien?
Serena starts to cry.
Darien: Its all right. You girls start to look for her and when I get back Ill help. Ok?
Serena: Ok.
Darien: They need me on the set. So Ive got to go. Ill see you soon. Bye.
Serena: Bye.
They both hang up.
Mina: Ill be back in a little bit, Serena. Ive got to go do an errand.
Serena: All right Ill see you later.
Both: Bye.
Scene: Litas Apartment
The gang is at Litas Apartment studying and the doorbell rings.
Lita: Coming. Oh hi Mina. I thought that it was your night to be with Serena.
Mina: It is, but when Darien called he told me that I had to come tell you guys something.
Lita: Ok, come on in.
Mina: Hey guys!
All: Hey Mina.
Amy: Why arent you at Serenas?
Mina: Darien called her tonight and he told me that hes coming home early and he wants us to get Serena out of the house so he can surprise her.
Raye: That sounds so romantic.
Mina: None of us can say a word about this to her at all. You guys promise?
All: We promise!
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
Luna: Where did Mina go?
Serena: She went to go do an errand.
Artemis: I wonder what errand that could be.
Luna: (thinking) Could it have something to do with Darien calling? Im going to find out.
Artemis: What are you thinking Luna?
Luna: Nothing, Im just going out for a walk.
Artemis: Dont be gone long. Ill miss you.
Luna: Oh Artemis. (blushes) (thinking) Now I can find Mina.
Scene: The streets
Mina: (thinking) Darien coming home is going to make Serena so happy. She needs to be cheered up so that she wont think of Rini.
Luna: Mina, why are you out here?
Mina: Luna, what are you doing here? I thought you were with Serena.
Luna: I was, but I went to look for you. Why did you leave and does it have anything to do with Dariens call?
Mina: One question at a time. First, yes it does have something to do with Dariens call and second, I went to go tell the girls that we have to keep Serena out of the house tomorrow so Darien can come home and surprise her when we bring her back home.
Luna: Thats a lot to remember. Now I understand. Ill help you to keep her out of the house tomorrow. Ill also tell Artemis.
Mina: You look tired. Ill carry you back if you want.
Luna: Thanks. I dont know why Im so tired.
Mina: Youve probably just been worrying about Serena, her baby, and Rini too much lately.
Luna: I guess so. Yawn!
Mina: Lets get you home.
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
Mina: Artemis, wheres Serena?
Artemis: She went to bed. She was exhausted.
Mina: Well Luna fell asleep on the way home so Im going to just put her on Serenas bed with Serena.
They walk into Serenas room and hear Serena talk in her sleep.
Serena: Darien come home! Rini where are you? Dont leave! Come back!
Mina: This is really upsetting her. Its a good thing Darien is coming home early tomorrow.
Artemis: Huh!
Mina: Oh! I forgot to tell you. We have to keep Serena out of the house tomorrow so Darien can come home, unpack, and surprise her when she gets home.
Artemis: (under his breath) I wish I could do something like that for Luna.
Mina: What did you say?
Artemis: Nothing!
Mina: Youre lying.
Artemis: Ok, I said I wish I could do something like that for Luna. You happy now.
Mina: Yeah thats so romantic.
Mina gets that far off dazed look and gets hearts in her eyes and starts to daydream. Artemis whacks her in the head and Mina wakes up from her daydream.
Mina: Why did you do that?
Artemis: You were starting to drool.
Mina: Oh.
Mina gets a big sweatdrop and they walk into the livingroom.
Artemis: Anyway, Ive been worried a lot about Luna lately.
Mina: Why?
Artemis: Shes been exhausted lately and has been going to bed early instead of well you know and shes been so moody.
Mina: (thinking) I wonder.
Artemis: I hope shes not sick or anything like that. Shes always been so spry and active before bed. (blushes)
Little do they know Luna has been listening for the last couple minutes.
Mina: You really love her a lot dont you.
Artemis: More than anything in the world.
Luna: (thinking) Im so lucky to have Artemis, but I cant tell him just yet about my news just yet.
Artemis: I hope shes ok.
Mina: Shell be just fine.
Luna: Hello everyone.
Both: Hi Luna.
Artemis: (whispers in her ear) I love you Luna.
Luna blushes and whispers in his ear.
Luna: (whispers in his ear) I love you Artemis.
They rub their heads together in contentment and then they realize Mina is in the room and they get sweatdrops on their heads. The sweatdrops get even bigger when they see her with hearts in her eyes and shes staring at them.
Artemis: Do you mind!
Mina: No not at all.
Artemis: Well we do so
Both: GO!
Mina: Fine Ill go to bed. Bye you love birds.
They both get more sweatdrops. Mina pulls out a sleeping bag, unrolls it and puts in on the floor by Serenas bed. Then she goes to sleep. Luna and Artemis cuddle on the sofa and well I dont need to tell you what happened next do I?!
Scene: The next morning at Serena and Dariens Apartment
Mina: Are you ready to go on a shopping spree with the girls yet?
Serena: Almost ready I just have to slip into one of my maternity outfits.
Serena comes out in a gorgeous pair of overalls.
Mina: You look great.
Serena: Really!
Mina: Yes really!
Serena: Wheres Luna and Artemis?
Mina: (giggle) Look on the couch.
Serena looks over the back of the couch to see Luna and Artemis asleep with Artemiss arm over Luna.
Serena: Oh! They really do love each other dont they?
Mina: Yep. I asked Artemis if he loved her last night and he said yes more than anything in the world. Isnt that so romantic.
Serena: Yep. Wed better leave them and get going or well be late.
Scene: The Mall
Lita: Did you know this is the first shopping spree that weve had in months?
Amy: It could have something to do with the fact that Serenas pregnant. (sarcastically)
Raye: Here they come remember we have to keep Serena busy all day.
All: Right!
Amy: Hi Serena. Did you sleep well?
Serena: Actually yes I did.
Raye: Thats good because you need all the sleep you can get.
Lita: Especially at this time during your pregnancy.
Serena: Have you guys been to the library?
All: Yep! (with sweatdrops)
They all laugh together.
Serena: Thanks guys I needed a laugh.
All: Youre welcome!
Mina: Now that weve all had our laughs LETS GET SHOPPING!
All: YEAH!
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
Darien: Anyone home? Noones home good. I can set up my surprise.
Darien goes into the empty room in the Apartment and brings in boxes.
The scene cuts back to the mall before we can see what Darien is unpacking.
Scene: The Mall
Serena: This is a blast!
Mina: I told you it would be fun.
Lita: Its just like old times.
Raye: We need to do this more often.
Amy: Dont most of you have to study for college entrance exams?
They all get huge sweatdrops and then they stare at Amy and she gets an embarrassed look on her face with a few sweatdrops on her forehead.
Amy: Sorry.
All: We forgive you!
They all start to laugh and then Minas pager goes off.
Mina: Im going to go call this person and be right back.
Serena: Hurry were having fun today.
Mina goes to a phone and dials the number on her pager.
Mina: Hey Darien. Are you ready?
Darien: Yeah bring her on home. Im ready. Shes going to love this.
Mina goes back to the group.
Mina: Guys we have to go.
Mina whispers into Litas ear.
Lita: Oh yeah we do have to go.
Raye: Yeah we want to show you something, Serena.
Serena: Like what?
All: Youll see!
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
Darien: Theyre here! Id better hide in our bedroom.
Mina: Come on Serena.
Lita: Now go into the room youre going to use for the nursery.
They all walk in and Serena gasps.
Serena: Did you guys do this?
All: Nope!
Darien: I did.
Serena: DARIEN! YOURE HOME!
Serena nearly bowls him over.
Darien: Could you guys leave the room for a minute?
All: Sure.
Darien: Did you miss me my meatball head?
Serena: You bet I did stud muffin!
They kiss for a long time and then the girls walk in.
Darien: So how do you like your surprise?
Serena: I love it! You guys were in on this werent you?
All: Yep!
Lita: What do you think we took you away from the house so long for?
Amy: Thats why Minas pager went off and then we had to go.
Serena: You guys are the best, but you know what part of the surprise I liked the best.
All: What?
Serena: Darien coming home!
All: Ahh!
Darien: When you leave be careful of Luna and Artemis on the couch. They must have worn themselves out last night.
Mina and Serena giggle.
Raye: Now all we have to do is find Rini.
Serena: And we will very soon.
All: WERE COMING RINI!
