Last we left our friends they had all gone home for Christmas dinner. Chad, Greg, Andrew, and Ken surprised Raye, Amy, Mina, and Lita with a Christmas love song. Melvin wins Molly back and Eric surprises Rini with a romantic Christmas song. This episode starts off a couple months after the previous one and this one starts with Rini waiting in Ms. Harunas class and she is staring at the clock while Ms. Haruna is trying to teach.
Haruna: Rini are you paying attention?
Rini: Hmm.
Haruna: Thats it young lady youve just earned yourself an afternoon in detention.
Rini: But
Haruna: No buts! This is the tenth time this week and its only Wednesday! Im also going to send a note home to your mother. Maybe this will teach you to pay attention in class.
Rini gave a little chuckle at the thought of Ms. Haruna trying to get a note to her mother in the 30th century and then she remembered that Serena was technically her mother in this time and for the first time that day she started to worry and then she remembered the afternoon that she was supposed to spend with Eric and she felt extremely sad. At that moment the lunch bell rang and Rini remarkably was the last one out of class.
Scene: The yard outside the school.
When Rini got outside she just plunked down under her usual tree and sat there and she didnt even touch her lunch. Eric finally came over after his teacher let him out of class. He had almost gotten caught day dreaming about Rini and his teaching was lecturing him on paying attention.
Eric: Rini, honey, whats the matter?
He asked as she sat there trying to hold back the tears.
Rini: Nothing, why?
Eric: It just looks like theres something wrong thats all.
Rini: Why do you say that?
Eric: I dont know could it be the fact that you havent touched your lunch?
At that moment the floodgates opened and she poured out everything including the fact that with detention she couldnt spend the afternoon with him. He sat there with her listening and stroking her hair.
Eric: Its all right Rini you can always spend some time with me after detention.
Rini: You sure?
Eric: Im positive. Ill wait by the swings at the park by your apartment building just for you.
Rini: Oh Eric!
She rapped her arms around him and gave him a huge hug and then she tilted her head up and they kissed.
Eric: Hmm If thats the reward for comforting you I should do it even when you dont need it.
Rini: Oh you!
She playfully slaps his arm and then realizes that she hadnt eaten her lunch and lunch was almost over. She then ate her lunch with such speed that it amazed even Cassie and Amanda who had shown up just in the last few minutes. What they did not know was that a girl named Jerica who liked Eric was hiding behind the tree listening and before that she had been trying to find a way to break Eric and Rini up so she could have Eric all to herself and this had given her the most rotten idea.
Scene: The Detention Room
Rini is sitting at a desk with her head in her hands watching the clock and waiting for detention to be over.
Rini: (thinking) I wish detention would hurry up and end so I could go see Eric. This is a major reason to want to head home.
Haruna: You may go now Rini and maybe youll pay more attention in class now.
By the time she finished saying this Rini was gone.
Haruna: I wonder where she gets that from. Well Ill find out soon if Rini gives that note to her mother. Ill finally find out who her parents are.
Scene: Park by Rinis building
Eric is sitting on a swing waiting for Rini when Jerica walks up to him and starts to talk with him.
Jerica: Hello Eric.
Eric: Hi Jerica. What are you doing out here I thought you lived about four blocks away from here.
Jerica: I was on my way home when I saw you sitting here and you looked lonely.
Eric: Nope, Im just waiting for my girlfriend, Rini.
Jerica: Oh.
She walks a little closer and pretends to trip and Eric catches her. At that moment Rini walks into the park and sees Eric holding Jerica and she runs away when Eric sees her standing there. Eric drops Jerica and runs after Rini.
Eric: Wait Rini it wasnt what you think!
Rini stops and turns around with Eric standing a few feet away.
Rini: I know what I saw and it made me sick. I dont want to keep you from your precious Jerica so go ahead and go back to her.
Rini ran into the building and ran to the elevator before Eric could catch her the doors to the elevator shut. Eric ran home to try and call Rini and figure out how to straighten this out. When the elevator stops on her floor Rini runs out and to their door. She runs into the apartment and runs to her room and throws herself on her bed and sobs. Serena sees her daughter run into her room and tries to get her to open the door.
Serena: Is everything okay, sweetie?
Rini: Yes! Now go away!
Serena: (thinking) This must be serious shes always so open with me normally.
As shes thinking she walks to the phone and calls the girls.
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
All the girls are sitting in the living room with Serena and Darien and are discussing the problem at hand. Meanwhile in Rinis room.
Rini: If he doesnt care then I dont care about myself anymore! Ill just leave and no one will care one bit.
Rini transforms and jumps out of the window.
Serena: Rini, are you all right?
Serena runs into the room when she realizes the door isnt locked anymore and gasps. She runs back into the living room.
Serena: Shes gone!
Darien: What?!
Serena: I dont know why but she must have transformed and jumped out the window.
Amanda: Oh, no! The rumor must have been true.
Cassie: Do you think its possible?
Lita: Do you think what is possible?
Amanda: There was a rumor at school this afternoon that Rini caught Eric holding Jerica at the park by this building.
Cassie: When he was suppose to be waiting for her.
Mina: That cant be possible.
Kristi: Mothers right it cant be.
Raye: Why cant it be?
Mina: When ever Im near the both of them all I get is this feeling of love and trust mutually between them.
Kristi: Shes right there is no way that Eric would cheat on Rini he loves her as much as she loves him.
Lita: How do you guys know all this?
Mina: Well, DUH! Im from Venus the planet of love.
Kristi: And Im her daughter.
Lita: Oh yeah.
Darien: We need to find Rini. With the enemy knowing that she is Princess Rini they are going to be able to find her quickly.
Scene: A Rose Garden across town
Rini: I actually thought he meant it when he said that I was his one and only love. I guess if they dont want me Ill just stay here and no one will miss me.
Birtie: Oh is the little Princess lonely?
Rini: What do you want?
Birtie: I want to help you.
Rini: Why should I believe you?
Birtie: Because I know how you feel.
Rini: You do?
Birtie: Yes, I had friends and a boyfriend like you once but then it all changed. They were absolutely horrible to me. My boyfriend cheated on me and then after awhile I couldnt take it anymore so I ran away and was about to kill myself when King Sabor saved me and made a home for me. He could do the same for you.
Rini: How would he do that?
Birtie: Let me show you.
Birtie holds her hands together until she has enough dark energy built up and then she lets it loose at Rini and it overcomes Rini and starts to change her into a new person.
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
Everyone is sitting in the living room discussing a way to find Rini. As they are talking there is a knock on the door. Serena gets up to answer the door. When she opens the door she finds someone that she does not expect.
Serena: Hello Eric.
Eric: Hello Mrs. Shields. Is Rini here?
Serena: Why would you want to know and what is this I hear about another girl?
Eric: That was all a mistake. May I come in and explain what happened?
Serena: I guess so.
Eric walks in and gets a very bad look from the group. He sits in a chair and then proceeds to tell what really happened.
Eric: Im truly sorry that Rini is in so much pain I tried to tell her what happened before she ran off but she wouldnt let me.
Darien: Will you just tell us what happened?
Eric: I was sitting on a swing waiting for Rini to get out of detention and then a girl from school came up and started to talk to me and then she tried to walk closer and she tripped and I caught her and thats when Rini walked into the park and ran off.
Darien: I think hes telling the truth.
Serena: So do I.
Darien and Serena can tell if someone is lying to them because they have some psychic ability.
Cassie: If what hes saying is true then we have to find Rini and let her know that before she does something drastic.
Eric: You mean shes not here!
Serena: I went into her room and it looked like she had transformed and jumped out the window.
Eric: I have an idea of where she might have gone.
He transformed into Chibi Tuxedo Mask.
CMask: Are you guys coming or what?
Serena: Hes right lets go gang!
All: Right!
Amanda: CHIBI MERCURY POWER!
Cassie: CHIBI JUPITER POWER!
Kristi: CHIBI VENUS POWER!
Lita: JUPITER STAR POWER!
Mina: VENUS STAR POWER!
Serena: MOON CRYSTAL POWER!
Raye: MARS STAR POWER!
Amy: MERCURY STAR POWER!
Darien pulls out his red rose and goes through his transformation.
Mask: Lets go gang.
Moon: Lead the way Chibi Tuxedo Mask.
CMask: Here we go!
Scene: The Rose Garden Across Town
When the group gets there they see Rinis locket and her communicator on the ground.
CMask: She has been here.
Birtie: Yes she was but now shes a whole new person
Moon: What do you mean and wheres Rini?
Birtie: Shes right here but shes not called Rini anymore shes called
WLady: Wicked Lady!
Moon: Not again.
CScouts: What?!
