A Little Glimpse of the Future

Last we left our friends they were in a warehouse right after a battle with Birtie and Droido. Which Chibi Moon won with help from the Love Wand that was created by the unexpected love between her and Chibi Tuxedo Mask. There was also the surprising revelation of Prince Eric saying he is the son of Mercury. And now the story continues.
Scene: Warehouse
Mercury: What do you mean Son of Mercury?
PEric: Just as I said I am the son of Mercury.
Venus: How could you be when Mercury doesnt have a son.
PEric: Perhaps I had better explain.
Mars: Yes, you should. (Says with annoyance in voice.)
Mask: Perhaps we had better go someplace not so public first.
They all detransform and head to Serena and Dariens Apartment.
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
They are all seated in the living room. Lita and the other girls are sitting on the floor, Serena is sitting in the chair with Darien standing behind her, and all while Rini and Eric are sitting on the couch holding hands with a loving look in their eyes.
Luna: Can somebody please tell me what is going on?
Mina: We will after Eric explains a few things to us.
Lita: Thats right.
Serena: Go ahead Eric.
Eric clears his throat.
Eric: First I must say that some of this may seem a little strange to you and you may not believe me, but it is all true.
Rini: Most of what hes going to say is about the future. The only reason I know anything about it is because we are finally together.
Eric: Shes exactly right. I might as well start at the beginning.
A flash forward* happens.
*Since its going to the future I guess its a flash forward not a flash back.
Eric: Im from a year before Rini was born I was exactly one and a half when she was born and we were promised to each other.
Diana: Small Lady!
Diana jumps on Rinis lap and snuggles in.
Eric: As I was saying, when I was five I was crowned the Prince of Mercury.
Amy: Prince of Mercury, but that would mean that youre youre
Eric: Yes Im your son.
Amy turns a very white color and faints.
All: Amy!
Mina: Shell be okay.
Luna: I guess it was all too much for her to handle.
Lita: Go ahead Eric.
Eric: When I was crown prince of Mercury Rini was crowned Princess of Crystal Tokyo. When she was five we meet for the first time and at that time we were told that one-day we had to marry. We were both appalled at the thought and vowed to hate each other. We would try every excuse to get out of having to meet each summer. By the time I was fifteen and she was fourteen our parents had gotten past all of our excuses and forced us to meet again.
Rini: Frankly, Im glad we did.
Eric: That day they pushed us both into the same room and left. We refused to turn around and look at each other and we stayed like that for awhile until our mothers came in and gave us the biggest guilt trip in the world.
Mina, Lita, and Raye giggle.
Raye: Sounds like Serena all right, but Amy giving someone a guilt trip.
Lita: I guess parent hood changes everyone. Huh, Munchkin?
Cassie: I guess it does momma.
Serena: Go ahead Eric.
Eric: When we finally turned around we gazed in amazement. We had forgotten that we would mature into adults and we were amazed at what we saw. She had grown her beautiful pink hair down to her knees and it was in the same style as her mother, her body had filled out, and I had never seen a more beautiful face in all of my life.
Rini: He looked gorgeous he had grown muscle, his eyes had softened when he looked at me, and I felt a mind connection with him. He could tell what I was thinking and I could tell what he was thinking. It was love at well I guess second sight, but anyway from there on in we loved each other and vowed nothing would keep us apart.
Eric: When our parents saw this they immediately had me move into the Crystal Palace. Which I didnt mind one bit because it put me closer to Rini. A while after that a new enemy came and Rini was forced to become a Chibi Sailor Scout and so was her court.
Artemis: Who is her court?
Eric: Im afraid I cant tell you that. Anyway when the new enemy arrived she was forced to fight and I saw the danger and was afraid for Rini. I wanted to help, but didnt know how. I had heard of a man called Tuxedo Mask and how he had saved Sailor Moon on more than one occasion so I modeled my disguise after him.
Jay: Why the disguise?
Eric: My parents wouldnt let me help her. So as not to directly copy Tuxedo Masks costume I made my mask red and threw white roses. I was hoping to keep this a secret from everyone, but
Rini: After a battle one day I came back to the palace and went to go see Eric and he had just gotten back and was in his costume so he told me everything.
Eric: I thought for sure she was going to hate me for what I did.
Rini: But it only made me love him more.
Rini Yawns.
Serena: Who is this new enemy?
Eric: I dont know once they attacked the Crystal Palace our parents sent me to the past to get help since Rini was already here and didnt know of the threat her parents sent her court to help me, but on the way here the enemy got to them. They dont remember anything. We have to find them and restore their memory.
Darien: How?
Eric: Why with the Diana mind meld of course.
Rini yawns again.
Darien: I think its time we all went home and went to bed.
Eric: Can I have a minute alone with Rini first please?
Serena: Go ahead while we wake up your mother.
Everyone leaves the room except for Rini and Eric.
Eric: Im so glad I finally remember.
Rini: Me too.
Eric: So can I see you tomorrow about four at the park.
Rini: It would be my pleasure to meet you there.
Eric: No, Ill come and get you.
Rini: Being a gentleman are we?
Eric: Of course.
Eric leans forward while Rini gets on her tippy toes and their lips meet in a tender kiss.
Eric: See you tomorrow my love.
Rini: Like wise my prince.
He kisses her on the cheek and leaves. Little do they know that Serena was watch from around the corner.
Serena: (thinking) Well I know he was telling the truth about loving her. They are so cute together.
Amy: Serena.
Serena: Yeah.
Amy: Were going to have a meeting at Rayes tomorrow.
Serena: Sounds good to me.
Amy: Okay, see you there.
Amanda: Can Rini spend the night at our house?
Amy: If its all right with Serena and Darien.
Serena: Its all right with me.
Darien: Sure she can.
Amanda: Now Im going to see if Cassie can too.
Amy: Go ahead.
Amanda runs off to talk to Lita.
Rini: So its all right for me to go with Amy and Amanda?
Serena: Have fun sweetie.
Darien: See you tomorrow munchkin.
Rini: Thanks momma! Thanks daddy! Bye!
Rini grabs an over night bag. All the girls leave and then Eric leaves.
Darien: I almost forgot to ask. The baby is at your parents house right?
Serena: Yeah, I didnt see any need of picking her up this late. Besides I thought you and me needed a little time alone.
Darien: You mean to talk about the new enemy or did you have other things in mind?
Serena: Oh, wouldnt you like too know!
They kiss and both walk into the bedroom and like I need to tell the rest.
Scene: Amandas Room
Amanda, Rini, and Cassie are on Amandas floor sitting on their sleeping bags talking.
Cassie: So what is it between you and Eric?
Rini: Youd love to know wouldnt you?
Both: Yes!
Rini: (tauntingly) I dont know?
Both: Please?
Rini: Oh, I guess Ill tell you.
Both: Yeah!
Cassie: Dont forget the juicy details.
Rini: All right! But first where is Diana?
Amanda: Shes over there.
Rini looks over at Jays basket and finds him there with Diana laying on the other side of the cat bed.
Rini: Aww! Jays sharing his cat bed with Diana.
Cassie: Thats sweet, but we still want to know about you and Eric.
Rini: Okay, but you guys have to talk about your guys too.
All: Cool!
They start gabbing and we pan over to the cat bed where Jay is not asleep and is sitting there thinking.
Jay: (thinking) Why am I so nervous around Diana? Ive never felt this way about anyone before. Could this be love?
Scene: Amys Room
Amy: (thinking) I have a lot to think about. I still cant believe that I have a son in the future and with whom. Another thing I cant believe is that Rini and Eric fall in love. I wonder who Rinis court is.
Amy picks up her handtop computer.
Amy: (thinking) Its rather obvious that theyll be scouts, but who are they and when will they appear. How many of them are left. I wish I knew it would make all of this a whole lot easier on all of us.
Scene: Rayes Temple
Raye is in the fire room doing some meditating and all of a sudden she sees something in the fire. Its an image of a little girl with red hair
Raye: Whoa! I wonder what significance this has. I know she has something to do with the future. I think the scouts need to have a meeting tomorrow. Ive got to tell them about this. Maybe they can figure out who she is and why shes linked to our futures.
Raye continues to meditate for a while and then she goes to bed trying to figure out the strange vision in the fire.
Scene: Serena and Dariens Apartment
The phone rings and Serena goes to answer it.
Serena: Hello.
Raye: Hey, Serena its Raye.
Serena: Oh, hi Raye.
Raye: I called to tell you that I saw a little red headed girl in the fire last night and that shes somehow connected with our futures.
Serena: Do you know who she is?
Raye: I have no clue, but tell Rini to look out for a little red headed girl.
Serena: Rinis already left for school. Ill tell her when she gets home.
Raye: Thanks. Have to go, Bye Meatball Brains.
Serena: Arrg. Bye.
Scene: Junior High School
Cassie: I cant believe that were in Junior High.
Amanda: Its amazing.
Rini: Yeah, for me it just means that I get to be closer to Eric.
Eric: Did I hear my name?
Rini: Yes, you did and I love it when you answer.
Eric: Well, I especially love answering when youre the one calling my name.
They share a short kiss and then the bell rings.
Rini: I guess its time to go to class.
Eric: Guess so, see you later.
Rini: (thinking) I cant wait till 3rd period. My first class with him. If only it werent math. Oh well better not be late for my fist class.
Rini runs to her homeroom and takes a seat next to a red headed girl.
Rini: Hi, Im Rini.
Kristy: Im Kristy. I hope this class isnt too hard.
Rini: Well Im pretty good at history so if you need help you can just ask.
Kristy: Thanks. (thinking) How come I feel like I know her?
Rini: (thinking) How come I feel like I know her?
